nothing but rumors. might i add in, conflicting rumors. however, they seem somewhat plausible, if not slightly on the high end.
i really wouldn't be surprised if the gfFX ultra came in at $450 or something.

A $500 upper is believeable. The AIW Radeon 9700 (with TV tuner thingy for those who aren't ATi savvy) started at $500 US. Which would be what...about 480 Euro?
I'm thinking there might be quite a few versions.
Let's say it's true, why would they test the chip at those crazy speeds heh

DigiTimes reports that TSMC's 0.13-micron processes at Fab 6 has reportedly reached a yield rate of 70% and that NVIDIA's GeForce FX (NV30) is in "small-volume test production."
I think we coud see cards shipping in late February

Yeah, probably. Unless they find a problem which got nothing to do with 0.13, such as their Aniso algorithm outputting crap when using 16 textures.
Just an example. I doubt such a thing is even technically possible.
BTW, $500 is about 500 Euro. But there's the VAT and some evantual other costs... So it's more like 600 Euros AFAIK :(

What a bleeding rip off :(
I think ATI is just gonna pull the same trick that happened with the GF4... besides people are saying there will be R350s and R400s shortly after the NV30.
And they said the .13 fabrication would see lower end user costs :) I can only see one type of fabrication here :p

i think this card was/is will be a pain in the ass for nvidia. Thks to TSMC:p and it is coming to late i still have hope for the MX line if they can get it right and chepear than 9500pro i think they have a winner.
were are lucky nvidia not only produce 3d cards because if that was the case we could have seen another 3dfx...i mean it took just one product cycle to knock down the king of 3d....

when's the last time nvidia sold a card cheaper than its competition from ATI? probably never :p remember, ATI is still the underdog, they haven't had the crown that long yet.

the TNT2 was cheaper than the V3, maybe.
the TNT2Ultra was more expensive than the V3 3000(or whatever the middle card was called). of course the TNT2Ultra had 16 more MB of RAM, and was only $20 more expensive or so.
TNT1 prices i think were $200 at intro. that was a long time ago, so the prices might very well be wrong. i think that was the Diamond card, and Diamond cards were usually more expensive. i believe the Diamond Voodoo Banshee was something like $220 at intro though.
