It's all the same, some folks here in Canada cheered when she called Bush names, just as some Americans cheered when there was that questioning as to wether or not Canada had the right to be in America.

Hey mister fancy pants. I did stipulate that we have GREAT micro-breweries. ;) I as a proud American am emberassed that we make Miller, Budwieser, Hams, Coors, and all the other crappy pilsner beers and would like to appoligize to the world for these brewed bottles of hell we inflicted on the world. That having been said, HOW ABOUT A NICE COLD BTTLE OF Red Hook ESB. MMMM good beer or maybe a Pike Kiltlifter ale? MMMMM disert is awaiting in a bottle. :D

Yeah it gets under our skin after we hear people in your Goverment saying we should be cut of because we are using your country for your natural resources and destroying your forrests and other ****. As matter of fact it pisses me off. Some of the officials I have to wonder if they even think about how much Canada benifits from us. The lady is right, Canada does not need a great military or a extensive weapons program because we are your protector in every way. If another country even looks and Canada funny the US would come to it's aid without question or thought even faster than it would for Britain. On top of that we pump billions into your economy so we are not stealing or bilking anything. I don't even think your population knows our military trains together and surveys both coutries skies together within fortified mountain in the middle of our country. Half our tv shows and movies is even filmed there. So yeah it gets under my skin when see officals who are not nobody's trying to put vodoo spells on our president.

The Canada/USA thing is a mroe heated version of the UK/Australia thing, our media takes the fun poking too far, but the majority of us realise making fun of someone is the first grader way of saying you like them. I'd worry more if Canada and the USA stopped talking.
