While i'm very known with Motherboard flashing, and I know what they give ya, I don't know nothin' about VGA BIOS updating. I got a PNY6800GT with manufacture BIOS, and I want to update it to Rev.4 BIOS, and I wanted to ask you:

- What it will give me?
- What are the risks?
- Should I use NVFlash?
- Is it worth it? :p

Thanks in advance,
biran

Why they update the bios if there is nothing new or no fixes?

The risk is damaging your card. I usually flash to the latest version though...
I use nvflash, and the benefits... are usually nothing :) hehe, sometimes it fixes some stability issues, but if you aren't having any problem you probably won't gain anything useful.

I have some stabillity issues.
Just at Ultra speeds the cards freezes after a very long time of intense gaming.
I'll try flashing to the latest rev.

Did you ever stop to consider that maybe it's your overclocking that's causing the problem?
