I read on this website (http://www.blep.net/hl2stutter/) that the stutters might be because textures are not being properly loaded into memory.
So I figured that I'd go into the BIOS and mess around with the AGP settings. I decided to Disable AGP Fastwrites and see what would happen.
Lo and behold my stutters are gone!! :eek:
Well... actually I still get a few occasionaly, but the difference now is like night and day.
