i was wondering, if this heatsink would fit on my card.
the size seems to be fitting on the gpu + ram of 66GT.
but wot abt the bridge chip.?
the cooler looks good. should be effective!

but on the AGP version, it has a heatsink for a bridge, and the core is rotated at a 45 degree angle, also so is the heatsink rotated... so im thinking it will hit the mobo...
The 6600 is not listed in the campatibility chart, so I wouldn't go for it right away unless you find out for sure.

well in a review of that heatsink, they put it on a regular 6600GT PSi-E version...
Anyhow, i just put some Artic Silver 5 on the GPU, and it did wonders. The idle temp dropped from 44c to 37c, and load from 68+ to 55C. Also, the stuff isnt even broken in yet :) I swear, the paste that was on it from the factory looked like Toothpaste...
Ahahahh lol :D :D
