All seems well. But I have a question
Can you watch DVDs in SLI Mode ?

Yes :) Actually, I think it just reverts to single GPU mode for all 2d work.

Just a question, but why didn't you wait for prices on the 6800GT PCIe to drop before taking the plunge for two 6600GT's?

I will pick up two 6800 ultra's later. Right now the are to rich for my blood :-)

The system I have now will run all my games just fine.

I have the exact same setup as you and am just in love with it.

I also wanted to go 2 Gt's but they were not available and damn pricey.

I decided to get 2 eVGA's for their step up program they offer. I read up about it and it sounds pretty nice. Hopefully I will have they money at that time! :)

EVGA is awesome...I just wish the step-up program was for a longer window of opportunity, like say, three years.

Before people get all upset, think about it: it's guaranteed money for your card. say you have your AGP 6800GT for 2 years and when the 8800 (or whatever it will be called) is out and you feel like upgrading, well, I'm sure they'll still be selling 6800s (just like places still sell 4x00s) and you could get maybe $70-100 for it or something. Every little bit helps. But once it gets to three years, the technology has lived it's life and you've lost your chance to get any money for it at all.

I totally agree.

3 months (90 days) is too short... it should be at least 6 months.
