I have a pny 6800gt w/ an nv5 on it *good hs by the way* and am recieving a score of about 46k oc'd but, i get 4500 in 3dmark05. why is this? i am idling at about 56, so i dont think the gpu is throttling any. anyone else experience this?

I've noticed that Aquamark is quite a bit more cpu-dependent then 3dmark05 is. I only notice a nice improvement in score with Aquamark if I OC the cpu.
Is your processor not up to par?

I scored 58,320 with 6800GT. It depends on CPU as much as on GPU.

i have an AMD 64 3200+ clawhammer, but its not oc'd. I use to score around 53 w/ my vanilla 6800, but it didnt change even when i got my gt. i have never oc'd my processor, although i have some major cooling on it.

post your systems info. to compare the highest I got was 49,025 GFX 7,878, CPU 6,493. when I get some PC 3200 or higher I sure I,ll get a better score. I founded that the more your test the less your score will be for that day that,s in my case but if i do it right after a fresh boot the score is higher and compare to some posts here that got amd 64 systems I,m not to far off. You would think that our scores should be farther apart:cool:
