I just got back into it and its great fun. Today I was about ready to unload on the first person that crossed me, and I went and some weights kicked my ass. I came out feeling like a million bucks.

Thats good, only way to go, you don't lift weights you end up all flabby and nasty. :D

nothing like weight lifting. my favorite thing to do next to sports, computers, and reading. nothing like the feeling you get after a complete workout.
Mass lifting is great for women. Guys do aerobics. ;) :D

Weight lifting is great. You look better, feel better, and it doesn't take up too much of your time. (Takes me about an hour and ten minutes for a good workout). And when you're done, you feel refreshed.

I don't know what you guys do, but when I am done, im friggen pooped. I feel good the next day though :D
Its also kinda cool when you can pop out like 50 little veins in your hand.

heh, i have a bench at home, but i dont like to lift alone.
So I just use the school gym and recruit little freshmen to spot me
:D
This is what happens when I do a lot of weigh lifting !

I find doiing weights alone makes you a lot slower. Your movement and motion just starts becoming slow. I have now switched to doing more of boxing and doing chin ups etc. and i have the same strenght but i just feel a lot faster etc.
I used to do a fair bit of weights 5 times a week for 2 hours and now that i have stopped doing weights for some time my muscel mass has reduced and i am starting to get stretch marks....

depends on your body type..if your like me, i find it very hard to gain mass no matter how much i eat and lift, i get stronger in a light build but i maintain speed. it also helps to run alot, and vary your workout by playing some basketball and boxing.

I lift weights nice and at a slow pace. That ensures I build more strenght and mass. If you don't wanna get bigger, just do it faster, it just burns fat and builds some strenght.;)
