Now this is cool.

The new approach eliminates the need to use SD-to-USB adapters when accessing the contents of an SD card on a laptop, PC, or other system that lacks an integrated SD card slot. The combo card's USB interface supports USB 2.0.

I'd like to see more USB devices to skip the protective shroud. It seems really unnecessary for most uses, especially if you have a cap for it during off use anyway. I have a 1GB version of the PQI Intellgent Stick and I always just use it without the shroud.

Hehe are xD cards big enough? Probably just barely. Yeah, this is a great idea/design. I hate having to have a reader of some sort around all the time.
