SuSE 8.1 + NVidia 3123 Drivers

I have downloaded these but was wondering if anyone else had encountered any issues? If so could you state them here please. Thanks a lot people...

I have installed both the kernel and the GLX from the nvida site. ( i even tried using yast for this too) and whenever sax gets it to use 3d i cnat use my mouse or keyboard.

if i log in in text mode as root then startx it will work fine 3D and all.. but any other users it will not start kde..

I seem to have mine working fine to date...GLX/Kernel 3123

Since yours is a MX 200, you should try an older version, maybe its more stable for your older card?

I got it to work..

i used the NEW sax to do it

downloaded and installed the OLD sax2 (not isax) and it worked fine...

like this

sax2 -m 0=nvidia

make sure you have the REAL drivers installed first though..

then it will work fine
