I thought you can't mine a node that someone else is already mining? Huh. Anyway, that's why I chose a medium-pop server to play on, it rules. :D

You can and some people often do, they really should lock the node if someone else is stood there mining it.

Windrunner is low pop, next to no lag and has less than regular downtime. We haven't had a server issue for 6 days now. I'm lvl 37, running around Stranglethorn Vale.

I played both EQ2 beta and WoW. Came from one of those "hardcore" raid guilds in EQ1 (Leviathan of Stormhammer) saw raid content that 90% of the fan base will never see. Now in a 'hardcore' guild on Stormrage (Blood of the Horde) and working on Onyxia keys.
Cheers =D

I am on Stormrage as well. I have a Tauren Shaman and am with Harbingers of the Horde guild.

I have a 33 Paladin on Frostwolf server. Its one of the servers that is borked right now heh.

I was reading through the first few pages, and I dont think I would have any right to get upset if they took away some of Paladins power. When Im in a fight with horde or NPCs I have like 3 or 4 lives where as they have only one, not to mention the armor on my legs and chest is probably higher than any comparable level horde characters whole body. I came to realise Paladins needed to be detuned when I could roll through just about any class horde around 7-8 levels higher than me with absolute ease, hell a couple weeks ago I killed a 37 Tauren shaman with my Paly and I was only lvl 29 at the time. One would think even if the player sucked that was the higher level, the level gap alone would be enough to beat me.

Just purge a pally, lay down some totems, watch confusion set in and beat on him..lol

Shammy and pally fights rock.

Generally people don't know how to play their chars so they assume the level difference will do it all for them.

A duel I just had backs up what I said, I was dueling a level 18 warlock with my level 9 paladin and he only just beat me. He honestly had no idea how to play his character otherwise he would have kicked my arse.

Heh heh, I don't know man. I duelled a level 8 paladin with my warrior at level 12 and lost. I just can't really do anything except swing away. Paladins get temporary invincibility, healing, stun, auras, and seals. Warlocks get even less - some DoT spells and a crappy pet. That doesn't stop them from getting their asses beaten. Well, until they get Fear at which point they're the most annoying class to duel.

Take away a paladins mana and they are dead.

Same thing for warriors and rage...oh wait. I think the fact that warriors have to "build up" their rage is the most ridiculous aspect about them. Their skills/abilities aren't the greatest to begin with and to top it off, missing 1/3 or more hits and being unable to get any rage is just sucky as hell, I think.

Take away a paladin's mana and they're warriors. Not much more to say there. ;)

As a warrior, my melee miss rate is well over 15% (that's just misses, not including dodges, blocks, parries, etc) at all times even with my +5 to Swords bonus as a Human, and the misses usually come in streaks. I was fighting a level 11 hunter yesterday and I missed 5 Heroic Strikes in a row before dying. It was laughably ridiculous. Blizzard totally destroyed this class somehow. I still enjoy playing it anyway. :retard:

I agree they should do something with warriors, like make rage build faster or maybe give them plate armor at a lower level. Oh did I mention I get a "free" mount at lvl 40 LOL. God, Paladins are almost like playing with hax haha.

Blizzard has recognised the Warrior miss rate as a problem, also a paladin without mana is much weaker than a warrior.

I was slaughtering a 44 pally with my 42 shammy last night. Beat him down about 5 times. I'll assume he wasn't a good player though. The only time her beat me is when some 60lvl Hunter came in to the picture, then I got beat down with arrows bad.

I find that with pallys their biggest thorn in their foot is their shield ego lol. They like to use their multiple shields mid battle, stop, sit or even dance in front of you. Which is fine because I heal, mana potion, earthbind, windfury, wait a minute, purge, ice zap, and clubaway while he's trying to run in slowmotion.

He just spent his 9 lives.

True that but a warrior without Rage is about the same as a Pally, and I need more Rage than I get thanks to the miss rate, which is approx. 10% (only misses, not dodges, blocks, parries, etc).

I played a troll warrior awhile back up intill lvl 12 and the miss ratio was bad. I know lvl 12 is nothing but it does give a good indication there is a problem there.

Now, whats strange is I right after tried a undead warrior and I barely missed with him. Maybe it was just a fluke.

Like vamp said Blizzard stated a fix for the warrior and mage in a upcoming fix so hopefully for you guys it gets better. Hopefully you hold aggro better. :p

Also a tip for you higher lvl warriors. Make sure a shammy that has windfury totems drop them. Doubles and triples your swing rate at chance and it boosts your rage really fast.

Holding aggro has been my biggest problem so far. Still, I'm having a blast playing my warrior. :D

Yeah, I'd like to go warrior with my next toon. I just want to deliver damage and not worry about healing, totems, limited weapons and armor. If they get the fix I may start a warrior also, although finding time for 2 characters would be tough. :(

I just got the game last week, and i have a lvl18 Druid. While in Bear form, the rage concept looks spot on to me. You need multiple mobs of approximately same or lower level so you can just jump from one to another, and generally kick ass. Wiith plenty of mobs around I just go on a rage streak only occasionally shifting back to caster form for a heal.

That's bear form. It's different. Roll up a warrior and try it out.

Your miss rate is only at 10%? Damn! Mine is at 26%!
