Sony is currently testing out a new copy protection system for their music CDs where they get to rip you off even more! :D Unfortunately, this technology won't stop the old standby of hooking up a conventional CD player to a LINE IN jack on a typical PCs sound card and recording the tracks with a WAV editor. :D

Eh, there will probably be ways to circumvent it before it even hits the market.
I love the optical-out on my home theater system and the optical-in on my soundcard.

I don't listen to CDs that much anymore, but when I do I just let you guys rip the music for me to download off the net and burn onto a CD :p :D Then if I like it enough I'll buy it to play in my car. Love you guys!:p

see now when they release this CD sales will plummet, and Sony will probably blame piracy for this instead of them been retards:rolleyes:
Yea, and instead of CD's being cheaper, the price will go up since they have to implement the "new technology"

This will most likely only be implemented on their best selling records, and I don't listen to any of that **** so I could care less anyway.
