What's up with all the a, b, and c's after file versions?

Well no kidding, I figured that much, but why keep all of them available then? Is C the latest version of the 67.02's?

because drivers change and some people may like an older one.

For some reason when i installed these drivers, after the reboot windowsXP halts with a blue screen during bootup with an IRQL error. I can boot into safemode and uninstall the drivers but then everytime i install any nvidia driver after that i get the same problem, even after a complete windows reinstall. I had to jump the cmos, remove both video cards and reseat them.

I confirmed that these drivers are what is causing this problem as I reinstalled everything, installed 66.93, everything is fine. tried these drivers again and blue screens during boot.

Very strange.

Funny how when a new driver is released, everyone seems to have all kinds of problems.
This was especially true with the official 66.93 driver.
Now, as time marches on, and newer beta drivers are released, then the officials don't look so bad!!!
Subsequently, when the betas cause problems, everyone reverts back to the officials.

Btw, your 67.02 Extreme G is by far the best (and longest running) driver I have ever used.

So which one is the final version? The one with the "a" suffix or without it?

the a

the a

So the one without the "a" is the beta? I'm guessing the final revision 1 isn't on mvktech?

Thanks, Daishi. So let me get this straight...

67.02 Final - http://www.mvktech.net/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=26&func=fileinfo&parent=folder&filecatid=616

67.02 Final Revision 1 is - http://www.mvktech.net/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=26&func=fileinfo&parent=folder&filecatid=619

Is that correct? I want the Final, not the Final Revision 1.

the only differance between the two 67.02's is the a has laptop support and thats it. they are both the same thing.
