ok....in Everest the temp. is always exactly 10 degrees lower for the GPU temp. than in the Nvidia Temp. thing...

which one is the correct temp.?

I would only trust the one in the nvidia control pannel.
53 sounds about right. :)

that's what i figured, but i just thought it was strange that it always reads exactly 10 degrees less than the Nvidia control panel....

hmmm odd, my everest edition doesn't even have the GPU temp in it.
it does show something weird to me though.
in everest it shows my voltages on my PSU
this is what it says in everest
+3.3 @ 3.49v
+5 @ 5.35v
+12 @ 12.74v

BUT in MBM5
is shows this
+3.3 @ 3.49v
+5 @ 4.08v
+12 @ 12.10v

so which one is right?
I really doubt my +5 rail is running that low, I have an Ultra X-Connect PSU, and I have no instability problems.
so is everest right? or wrong?

I would say the 53 is right. I got the same card and at idle and web surfing I am always between 49-54.

Speedfan also reads GPU Temp. 10C lower than what NVIDIA reads....

The Riva Tuner hardware/temperature monitoring is also relatively reliable & accurate.
