Best "Image Settings" value

Hi all.

Ever since I got my first nVidia card I used "High Performance" setting.
But now I decided I have to test between the various modes.

In "High Performance" setting I get annoying texture-jaggies with 4xAA/8xAF.
No that I changed to "High Quality" setting, this was removed.

Didn't officially bench yet but from my experience in HL2 (HIGHWAY 17), the FPS was at the same levels.

So I just wanted to know -
1. Which setting do you use?
2. What are the differences between the modes?
3. Which is the most recommended?

Please help my out (6800GT noob :D)

For good balance between framerate & IQ .. go for Quality , unless the game is running already fast in your rig then switch to HQ .
