What is the difference between these two drivers? I tried 67.02 after reading good things about them in several threads on this site but in the best drive poll we had not too long ago 67.03 was the winner...

If you really want to know the differences, download both sets and try them out yourself. You're at a university, it's not like you don't have the bandwidth available to you.

67.03 includes one fix for Geforce 6600 AGP on mobos w/ sis chipset, and also enables Purevideo support on Geforce 6 series.

Actually I don't go to SIU. I put it in my sig because my gf does and I figured nobody heard of Carbondale. I still have a lot of bandwidth but its the uninstalling and reinstalling of drivers I hate.

Doesn't it also add support for mobile chips or something? I thought I read somewhere that was the big difference between .02 and .03

Nah, it just had the Mobile OEM INFs, that all drivers have when they leave nVidia.
These get removed by vendors and usually only the nv4_disp.inf gets left behind in desktop drivers.
OEMs remove all the other INFs and send theirs away to get WHQL'ed.

The only real difference is as rewt says the 6600 fix.

does either set enable purevideo then or do I need to stick with the 71.20s for that?

purevideo doesnt do jack just another marketing ploy. dont choose drivers by if they have purevideo support or not.

I thought most reviews of purevideo claimed dramatic improvements to image quality?
