I'm looking to silence the noise in my PC coming from the PCI-E Gigabyte 6600GT I have and was wondering if the nv5 silencer for the 6800 fits the 6600 as there is no mention of the 6600, even on the artic cooling site.

Anyone have any experience of this?

Thanks in advance.

The NV5 was designed to accomodate the added length of the 6800 series. It won't fit on a 6600. One can only assume that they are working on one for the PCI-E 6600 GT (don't know how a third-party company can make a cooler like that for the AGP models).

AC has one in the works, and should be out next month. It will be dubbed the NV6.
