Wondering if anyone else experiences this...

Recently, I've been seeing odd little blobs or lines flickering in my games for 1 frame at varying intervals (sometimes 1 frame in over 200, sometimes 1 in 6 frames). The problem doesn't always happen in certain places, but in each instance if an one of these anomalies appears, it will appear in the same place over and over.

Now when i say same place, i don't mean a set place on the screen...the anomalies seem to attach themselves to objects in a game (see pic below, each of these streaks is attached to a unit), or sometimes to things like places in a map or environment.

I'm running a BFG 6800 Ultra OC, no overclocking past what comes stock, and the problem has appeared in multiple driver versions (66.xx, 67.xx, 70.xx, and 71.xx). Windows XP SP2, w/ DirectX 9.0c.

Have noticed problem in the following games:
Command & Conquer: Generals (all over the damn place)
World of Warcraft (primarily in Ironforge)
Dark Age of Camelot (only outside Castle Sauvage)
Guild Wars (big time at the login screen)
Doom 3 (specifically around lights)

Have not seen it in the following:
Half-Life 2 (or any Source games)
Leisure Suit Larry: MCL
Black & White
Wish
America's Army
Everquest 2

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Sounds like bad ram chips on the videocard, try one thing, set your AGP to 4x. See if that works. If it does, then its your Motherboard.

the AGP 4x didn't have any effect, thanks for the suggestion though :)
