DirectX9 RC1 is avaliable on Beta Place. Follow the link to download the release. This is not a final, so download at your own risk.

Important Notes: The DirectX redist files cannot be uninstalled. This is a pre-release version and it is important for you set a “System Restore Point” before installing the runtime. Please view your Operating System’s help files for more information. Requires Microsoft® Windows® 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Does not support either Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.

might try this on my other comp...Then again I dont think my GF3 or any games I currently own can take advantage of whatever DX9 has to offer.. :\
