View Full Version : Doom 3 mods I have heard of but can't find

I was planning on playing doom 3 through a second time, but I wanted to get a bit more out of the game this time around. I have heard of one mod that makes the corpses stay (rather than burn up) and another mod that makes the hidden areas stick out so that they are more obvious. I have searched around and can't find info about either of them. Anybody know where to find em?

I don't know anything about either of these, but I DO use a mod by Xios or something like that (I know it starts with an X) and it had higher-res textures for like 90% of the monsters. I like it.

First one is called bodystay, I can't seem to find it hosted anywhere so I could send it via email if you can't find it (very small)
Not sure about the second.
Try looking for ungibbable. I found info about it here:
Actually, here is a download link:
Ungibbable is a Doom3 mod by Junkguy that prevents bodies from gibbing and disappearing when hit. Instead, bodies stay intact and remain there, thus allowing players to either inflict further damage or view the realistic carnage. With this mod, players who are not satisfied with Doom3's sudden gibbings will find their singleplayer experience more realistic and enjoyable.
