I'm tempted to get this game. Screens look amazing and the gameplay is supposed to be awesome too

I would jump all over this one. IL2 and IL2-FB raised the bar for flight sims.

Made by the same folks, so you can expect quality. If you're a fan of IL2 and the Forgotten Battles Expansion I'd get all over it.

I've got is look really cool only thing is I've had it for a month now but I cant get the brake released so that I can take off and I do not understand jappanesse.

How does one take oof and realse the brake b for brake does not work

Doesn't this game use True Displacement Mapping for the water(vertex Level)?

Thanks Razorman, you're right that top one makes a nice desktop. I've cleaned out the FPS counter and stats in the left corners below.

anyone know why you can't have 'Perfect' water when playing in DirectX w/ a RADEON 9800 PRO? If i use OpenGL, i can play with 'Perfect' water no problem.

DirectX rendering is just OGL through a wrapper. The original IL2 was coded mainly on nVidia chips so perfect water is only available through straight OGL mode regardless of the GPU.
