Both are very good. I would have probably gone with NEC but I got a much better price on the P225F. :)

NEC definetely, I was also choosing between the viewsonic, and the NEC FE2111sb, I'm glad I made the decision I did :)

If price is not a problem then the FP2141SB should do nicely!

When I was looking I did not see a CRT with an actual screen size over 20".

The screen is extremely bright if you select the "movie" setting

At first I was like, super bright mode? Lame... But I actually use super bright mode 1 (picture) and the picture is absolutely fantastic. Very bright.

when your playing games or all the time ... the 19" viewsonic im using at home has a super bright and i only use it when im gaming and cant use it when im useing word. the text just gets way to blurry in superbright mode. do you have the same problem.

No, I use it 24/7.

When I turn it off the screen just looks way too dark. Super bright mode 2 gets a little blurry for text readying, but super bright mode 1 is perfect.

Dang.... CRT's are still 600 bucks. :(

I have a Viewsonic 21 inch Pro monitor
I got about 5 years ago.
I had got one off Ubid and it was bad when it come in.
They had no more of the one I had got. I paid 250 bucks
for one.
All they could replace mine with was a used 21inch Pro Viewsonic.
Needless to say I got one hell of a good deal.
I just retired it for this LCD.

I do love BIG CRT's. Man they look sweet.
U will LOVE that NEC I'm sure.
