Does anyone know how to get this to work???
I bought a $3000 laptop, and i cant even get Mandrake to work.
Nvidia put up Athalon drivers, but none for Intel, which makes no sense to me.
If anyone knows a work around please help me....
Thanks in Advance

Did you read the information from this thread (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2704) ?
The procedure should be no different for laptops.

The suggested ways, worked fine for a friend of mines, as he has the Gforce II chip in his Dell.
My G Force 4 however is giving me quite a hard time.

i586=Pentium/Pentium2/Pentium3
i686=Pentium 4
(At least, I think that's the pecking order...regardless, ix86=intel)

There are no new video drivers for the Gforce 4 mobile, save for the Athalon chipset.
Anyone find a work around, would really be appreciated.

Where are you getting your drivers from?
All I see for Mandrake on nVidia's website are ix86 drivers.

All NVIDIA video cards (starting from the TNT), including the GeForce 4 GO family, are supported by 1.0-3123. The architecture flag reflects the architecture of the kernel that the precompiled binary RPM was compiled against. For Mandrake 9.0, you'll need to use either the SRPM or source tarball package, as binary RPMs aren't available. Please see the README for more details.

It's working for me on my Toshiba 1410-604.
I use the latest drivers but I have a litlle problem: a black strip is not used on the right side of the screen. Changing the resolution doesn't solve the problem. Does anyone managed to correct this bug please ?

Did you install the kernel source for your distribution?
