I can pretty much gaurentee Nvidia is playing a wait and see game. Its highly unlikely they will blow their load too early like they did with Nv4x.
HEHEHEHHE I KNOW SOMETHING U GUYS DON'T!!!! W00t w00t!!!!
Quick... someone hold him while i hit it out of him !!!!
All I can say is Chris is right...but...just look at the first page of this thread :)
i cant decide if its about the xdr interface or the pipes or just the fact that it taped out... hmmmmm

hmmm
According THE INQs article NV48 is NV45 with 512 MB...It seems like situation with GF4Ti when NV25 was replaced by NV28(NV25 with AGPx8 support).
Then specs about NV50 may be true :) I hope they release better and faster GPU than ATI :D
I just think the internal code names were swapped around. :)

no clock change, still 400 550?? Should go for at least 450 550 :(

second that :(
No heatsink on the memory?
well i think the real question that has to be asked is, is the mpeg encoder fixed....
no dust buster V3?????? what do you want a three slot design ... two slots arent good enuff for you....
signs from sources point to inkwell being wrong....there is more than a 512mb refresh. :)

 :jumping:
Considering that the NV43 is more advanced than the current flagship, NVidia HAS to do something beside adding more memory.
FP blending performance issues and hardware codec come to mind. Correct me if I'm wrong but the 6800 lacks also of native HDTV support.

Does it mean NV is preparing something BIG????Faster than 520???
I have no idea on ATi's part. But from the details I have been told, NV has a few things going round which is indeed faster than a nV40...by some margin.
Yes but there are some rumours that r520 may be much faster than Rx800xt and NV must be ready for this. They MUST have thing much faster than NV40 if they want to win the battle against ATis r520.
I hope there will be performance leap like NV35->NV40 or bigger :D
PS.IMO these specs which were posted few days ago could be true closer than ATis r520.
I think core clocks for ATI parts are expected to be higher than NV's part like r4xx vs nv4x (so far).
If indeed both parts from both IHVs are near tapping out, tapped out or in final runs is good news. Well maybe not so much for the moolah challenged ;) like moi! :D
