Well, almost 3 weeks ago my mom underwent a histarectamy to kill the chance of her probs down there turning into cancer. She came home 3 days later. Now she is almost back to her old self. Now my dad just underwent surgery today on his nose and sinuses to remove and clean up a really really bad infection. They are doin' great, my mom is the toughest person I've ever met, and my dad, he is already at home! crazy huh? He just got the surgery at 10am this morning and he is already back. They're great, we've been thru rough times lately, but I think those times are behind us. Love your parents people! Once you lose em', you'll realize how much you miss em'.;)
Nice to here the great news Bu. :)
I cant agree more, times can be tough and of course unfortunate situations can get between people, but whenever possible do love your parents.

Ya, my sister is in "attack all members of the family" mode, and I'm like, someday you are going to regret the things you are saying, and it's SUPER mean stuff, like "I hope you all die in a car crash on the way to..." normally I wouldn't care, but my son was going with us at the time, needless to say, she'll never see him again...sad
The reasons for the hate are not clear, but she's almost 30, and she's bringing up things that happend when she was 4 as ammo for fights, so I have no clue whats going on in her head...
Needless to say I have a great relationship with my mom, and a good one with my dad, and it's even good with the in-laws too!
[eN]....I'm really happy to hear that your family is doing so well.....Life must be great with all that hardship behind you! :D
Matthy....it's a shame what's going on with your sister.....My family and I had our own re-enactment of WWII...complete with nuclear explosion....
Almost three years later....things have settled down again and are "alomst" back to normal....Just remember, things will always work themselves out....you just need to be patient and let time work its magic....Hope things turn around quickly for you and your family....

I guess sometimes being an only child ain't so bad.
Anyway, it really hurts to see good people have such problems with members of their families. My cousin has had issues with her husband not getting along with the rest of our family unit. The guy's a toolbox overall and he simply can't fit into our otherwise very tight, agreeable extended family. We've pretty much resigned him to this fate and we try to avoid contact with him if it's possible.
It's bad when you have to get to that point, but regrettably there are people who simply can't (and won't) be helped. :(
Lord, best wishes to your family; sounds like all is going well for you and that's great to hear.
Matt, my prayers are with you that you and your family have the courage and wisdom to make the right choices. Keep your chin up, amigo. :D

Thank you for all your great replies and support. You guys are the greatest. Matthyahuw, I know how thats like, I've been like that to my dad lately, I feel bad about it because I realize that he probably doesn't have much time left, and I know what he has been trying to get across. I don't know why I ever doubted him, but don't worry Matt, as with everything, it will all be fine with time. I'll pray for you bud and I wish you the best.;)

Thanks guys, but it's gonna take years for this to heal, that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Well wishes and prays for your parents as well...
