Even if it's reported as PCI, the system won't treat it as one. Heck, SiSoft Sandra keeps telling me there's no card in my AGP slot. :D

Where do you see that? I simply see L3 not being listed, not 3DMark05 explicitly stating you have none.

If it says AGP8X/4X, (whatever it's set at), in your driver control panel then it's working fine in AGP. Even if it says PCI mode it will still function but you will get weak results. If it does say PCI mode in the driver control panel you need to install chipset drivers or enable AGP8X in BIOS or simply change to AGP in driver panel.

with my 9800 pro, 3dmark03 told me the same thing

all i did was look in my case, make sure the card was still in the AGP slot, the proceeded to tell 3dmark03 to go **** itself. :D

The computer will consider the card as 'PCI' if the AGP/chipset/motherboard drivers are not installed. This will hamper the system in playing games.

You should have checked to see of everything else (eg video card control panel etc) was reporting it as AGP 8x or 4x or whatever, to make sure the software side of things are working correctly.

Does the same thing with my 6800 GT, and the chipset drivers are installed properly, its just a fookup of 3D Mark, cause according to it, I have nothing in my pci slots either, yet theres 3 cards installed. :afro:
