Since you got the cooler allready: The cheapest of the bunch. There is no difference in overclockability. Everyone telling you one brand is a better OCer than another is just and idi.. i mean dumb person. :D

I second that, get the cheapest. (though I have a thing for MSI)
If one is Vivo, or has a better warranty. But in terms of performance and overclocking, there is no difference.

Get the MSI 6800GT . at least you can reach the Ultra speeds with it easily as i do . (considering that you have a decent cooling in your case) .
i'm even thinking of going higher , but maybe later ;)

BFG = Lifetime Warranty

If you're lucky you can catch one at Best Buy like I did with a 10% off coupon and get it for $380 after tax.

Mine clocks 410/1.1 no problem out of the box. I backed it down to Ultra speed just for extra stability.

If overclocking is a must, I would say go Gigabyte and replace its fan, I did the same with mine using NV5 and now I'm running 430/1170 all day long, yet I didn't try to push more.

Getting nice 3d Mark 2005 score of 5661 with FW 71.40

He's modding the card. Warranty means absolutely nothing in this case.

i saw that Point of View card that reach to 450/1200 6800GT

it's freaking weird, so i dunno

i want to go for the PixelView prolink 6800GT because it's in the shop and i can just go and get it in more couple days.

or GigaByte or XFX

anyone could point me on which is the best of the three , means warranty, stability, and ocing , i have my own cooling the Zalman cooling for vga the newest there is now as i said at first post.

Gigabyte and XFX, I've owned one and used the other for a short time.

in the years i have building computers, ive found the better named cards to be better because of their service.

also a quick question, why does the Asus card have two power connectors? is that really a picture of an Ultra? (referring to the newegg link above)/

I know, but he could still 'unmod' it if need be for warranty. BFG does use thermal paste on their cards, so switching the sinks back should be no problem. The shouldnt be able to detect what fried it unless maybe he does volt modding.

Since u mentioned, money no probs, u just want a good o/c card, and u r gona put the zalman fan on it,
i'd say MSI, or Gigabyte, OR Albatron. (these 3 are better brands than the remaining in the list, IMO)

Better OVERCLOKER depends on ur luck.

this late in the game I would pick up a eVga 6800 GT. nvidia is more than likely going to release a refresh in the next 2-3 months. If they do you can simply use the evga step up program and pay the difference between your card and the new one.

I was going to tell you Gigabyte GeForce FX 6800GT 256bit 256MB GV-N68T256DH because of its cool looking cooler but if you going to replace it then go with the cheapest one and one that has stock cooler
