hi nice nvidia guys out there,
there is a problem on running the latest nvidia driver in redhat 8.0 because of a diffrence between the ggc-version with which the rh8.0 kernel is compiled (gcc v3) and the gcc-version with which are the binary-files in the "source" rpms are compiled.
this is realy bad. because when nvidia post source rpm than i want a source rpm and no mix between source and binary data :-(
this makes me angry, but live is bad. so if anyone out there has the same mood, she or he should mail at nvidia bug report and put their comments.
also a solution for this problem would be if nvidia would be so nice and post an alternative source rpm version for gcc v3 .... ???
this would be a realy nice behaviour - but nvidia and linux ... :-(
greetings to all mankind out there running rh8.0 without nvidia cards :-)
