I just ran the Nalu demo on my 6600 GT SLI cards and it seemed like I was getting terrible framerate? Seeing as how these are technology demos I would have thought that NVIDIA would have wanted to make sure that there cards looked like they were performing well with them. Am I wrong, and am I getting the right results?

Does the test run a lot better on a 6800 GT?

Thanks.

I can run flawlessy the Nalu demo for 6600 on my 6600GT-AGP even with AA and Aniso enabled. Yet when I tried to run the demo intended for 6800 it was a real slideshow. It turned out it was the AGP aperture set to 128MB. Setting it to 256MB allowed me to run also Nalu for 6800 at a decent framerate (~15-20 fps)

Dunno if there's similar option also for PCI-Express cards

If I misunderstand how the SLI works, I apologize...

I had thought that you need a specific "profile" for the program in order to activate SLI mode.

Would this be true of the demo as well?

I'm using 66.93. Anyway SLI or not SLI even a single 6600GT card should run Nalu demo fine unless you're forcing an insane AA mode (check also args.txt in /nalu/bin or /bin6600 directory)
