I really do wonder the credibility of this though.
Not that we could equip our snipers better, but where the money goes. I could just see this being a scam preying upon emotions.
i heard about that .... ya and the libs are all for freedom of speech .....only for them selves

I feel compelled to donate, but won't the DoD shut them down?
Or the IRS? I mean the part of the video "Without all the red tape" and "directly to the units"
I could just see some federal bozo going in there and shutting them down.
Now, if they took the money and bought ACTUAL EQUIPMENT, and then shipped it, I bet that would work.
I just fear that if I were to donate that it'd just all be for naught. It's a great idea, and a great cause. I'm all for helping out our insufficiently equipped units. I would just hate to see its popularity screw it up for our boys over there.
i just got the dog tags that they had for sale ....

Seriously, I don't cry over MOST of the stuff I see on the 'net. I get the fanciful forwards with great stories, sad stories, unique pictures, I get the interesting flash animations that are designed by nature to pierce one's heart.
%99 of which I throw to the side and leave in a pile (in the back of my mind) with the rest of the web-crap I get normally.
However that flash animation struck a chord w/me, in fact it brought tears to my eyes. I think any American Citizen should see that.

I guess democrats come in different flavors by the region. Over here the majority of the democrats, even the hardcore ones, support anything that helps the troops in iraq. (although they still do the hippie stuff) I guess my state is mostly just comprised of the pre-JFK democrats.
