Dont use the 71.84 drivers. They have problems for Overclocking with SLI. Though you really have no reason too with 2 6800GTS

ahh ok wich drivers are to recomend then? :) i just want to squeeze out every single drop of performance in the cards... its a must do thingie with me just to know how much i can get. are the 75.90 to use?

Personally. My Favorite SLI drivers have been 75.90. They have the highest SLI compatibility IMO. Though I have heard some users have problems with them. Dont hesitate to at least try them out.

Any place where I can see benchmarks of 2 6600GT in SLI with 75.90 drivers?

Only 66.93, 67.22 and 70.78 recognize my SLI quadro setup.

I'm running windows server 2003. yes, I enabled hardware accel and enabled dx accel in dxdiag.
Any clues?

The official 71.8 doesn't recognize the SLI either.
But in every case the above 3 drivers do recognize it flawlessly. The problem is that those drivers don't provide any of the quadro functionality.

I thought that with your investigation and trouble shooting you could reveal the secret. I want to use the quadro functionality. The drivers that provide the enhancements are the 71.84, 75.9 and 76.1. None of those recognize the SLI.

I had the same problem with my 6800ultras

Currently using 71.84's great in gaming and all around use.

"Innovatek, Gainward deliver big SLI scores"
By Fuad Abazovic: Thursday 17 March 2005, 11:04

IN ONE OF THE best designed PCs that we saw at CeBIT was a beast waiting for us to unleash its performance. At Gainward's booth, we had a chance to see an Athlon FX55 in an SLI board, overclocked to 2.7 GHz powered with two Gainward water-cooled Geforce 6800 Ultra cards.
We run the two usual suspects, 3Dmark03 and 3Dmark05, and managed to get some impressive scores. Innovatek water kit was cooling both the cards and CPU without any problems. The machine was supplied and assembled by Gainward Nordic and is a shipping unit.

We scored 24499 in 3Dmark03 and 11446 in 3Dmark05 and those are the highest scores that I saw in my life delivered by a water cooled PC. I believe that the CPU could be pushed even harder but even clocked at 2.7GHz, it was a breakthrough score.
