It's funny that Europeans talk about American Football being boring when most of Europe is in love with soccer...

1. tom brady didn't shut down peyton manning
OF course he didn't, Tom Brady doesn't play defence. :D
2. peyton manning was not shut down, his receivers just didn't make any plays.
Peyton was shut down by virtue that the defence had the receivers coverd and the pressure was on the QB. Peyton was shut down.

like i said, i don't care who would have won, just so long as it wasn't the patriots. unfortunately my wish didn't come true.

i wouldn't feel this way of the patriots weren't such assholes, but i feel the patriots are just stuck up and think their **** don't smell. if the patriots weren't so damn arrogant i'd probably cheer them on... not to mention the same attitude is carried out by many of their fans, as shown here
Ya, I don't know where you are getting this from. The Pats have always sucked except for 86 but the lost in a blow out. The pats have never had a good running back until Dillon (Who was a Husky W00t). They don't cause trouble and none of them are flashy showoffs. How can you not like them. At the most I think is would be sane to say that I just don't care about the pats but to hate them is weird.

Typical ignorant comment. In soccer there is always action, while in American sports like baseball and football there are pauses more often than not. With a soccer match you get 90 minutes of constant action, since even if there is a stoppage that time is then made up at the end of each half. In a football game I'd be surprised if more than 15 minutes of the 60 minute game clock are spent with actual action.

That said, I love both.

In an american football game, the game lasts for three hours while you only get to see three minutes of actual play. You dont seem to notice though. I just love the showboating in american football especially T.O :D . As i said before rugby is much more exciting as there is continous play and no ad breaks till half time.

Who cares? We like what we like. To poing out what you don't like about a particular sport to a person who likes that sport is pointless. I love most sports but would much rather play them instead of watching them.

Typical ignorant comment? It was a joke...and besides that, do you know why soccer, baseball and hockey aren't anywhere near as popular as football? Scores. People love games with high scores. It seems so much worse of a loss when the score is 21 to 7 instead of 3 to 1.

Besides that, it's a lot easier to score in football than any of the other three sports combined. And pretty much anyone can pick up a football and start playing. Hockey, you need to learn how to skate and handle a puck. Baseball, you have to hit a very small, fast-moving ball with a big stick, and soccer...for Christ's sake: you can't use your hands.

People like simplicity and big numbers.
