I Just got my NV5 silencer in the mail, and put it on my graphic card. :)

Now I have questions about overclocking it.

Do I have to overcklock both 2D clock and 3D clock?
I want to make it run @ 400/1100.

Another question. About after I've overcklocked it. When I install new drivers, do I have to adjust the clockspeeds again?

Which tool is best to overcklock my 6800GT? (coolbits/rivatuner?)

That's recommended to avoid freezing in games.

There's no guarantee of this so keep that in mind.

Yes, and it takes all of 30 seconds to do.

That's a matter of personal preference. Try them both and see which one you like more.

Thank you very much for the info.

I'll try overclocking it by giving the core 10 and memory 20 mhz at a time, and see if I can reach 400/1100. I'll run 3dmark05 between te "clock-sessions" to check if it will give artifacts.
Or do U think those steps (10/20) are too big?

(sorry for the crappy?? English)

Thanks anyway. ;)

You could probably start at 400/1100 as most folks are able to get their cards to clock at least that high. If you get a hardlock, drop your core speed by 5 MHz and try again. If you get artifacts, back off on your memory by 10 MHz (the increment allowed in Coolbits).
