I'm gonna have to say I don't agree. Oh well

02-14-05, 12:00 PM
There are 2 maybe 3 games on that list I plan on playing. Zelda GC and Elder Scroll's IV Oblivion are for sure games I will get, and *maybe* castlevania DS if it gets really good reviews.

02-14-05, 12:01 PM
I agree with both of you.

BiA, F.E.A.R. and STALKER are the only games I really care about on their list.

02-14-05, 12:10 PM
Games that I'm looking forward to on the list:
Splinter Cell 3: Chaos Theory
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey 2
GTA: San Andreas
Battlefield 2

Games I'm looking forward to that are not on the list
Driver 3
Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil
Lamborghini FX
NBA Live 2006
Raven-Shield 4
Unreal Engine 3
Carmageddon 4
MotoGP 3
Hitman: Blood Money
Serious Sam 2
Team Fortress 2
Duke Nukem Forever?

I have a long list this year :D

02-14-05, 12:14 PM
Yeah, no kidding. They should have included:

Doom 3: ROE
Quake 4.

02-14-05, 12:20 PM
No Quake4 or Doom3:ROE? Heresy!

By the way, never even heard of most of those games. Of course, most of those are console games, so that might be the problem...

02-14-05, 12:31 PM
Well, what's the point of having a "most anticipated" list if they're all games you already know about ;)

Actually it was nice seeing a few games on that list that I didn't know about/had forgotten about, but a lot of games are still overlooked by these types of articles. Where's Phantom Dust (http://xboxphreaker.com/pdtrailer2.wmv) (Xbox)? That game is going to be released in 21 days for $20 yet noone seem to know it exists, even though the Japanese version got fairly decent reviews.

Either way though, it looks like this is going to be a pretty good year.

Hey jAkUP, Unreal Engine 3 isn't a game and Epic isn't releasing one based off the engine for a couple yrs still.

02-14-05, 01:05 PM
pwnd :D

Games i'm looking forward to...

3.Splinter Cell 3

Eh...i'm saving up for PS3 and XB2...atleast were garunteed to get some good games.

I'm watiting for Final Fantasy XII myself  The FF series has never let me down, with it's very fun gameplay and good stories and it has given me several hundred playhours :D If I recall correctly then ff X and X-2 actually gave me 240Hours of fun gameplay :)

Love for the FF series (It's Valentine's day :))

02-14-05, 02:20 PM
The list is ok .. but still missing some highly anticipated games .

02-14-05, 02:59 PM

Yea I know... but I can still hope :D

Wow, that list sucks. A bunch of console crap. The only thing I'm looking forward to this year console-wise is the unveiling of PS3 and XBOXNext (XBOX 2 or 360 or whatever) and MAYBE Gran Turismo 4. As far as PC games, Battlefield 2, Quake 4, ROE and maybe a few others I don't know about are my most anticipated.

02-14-05, 03:39 PM
"most anticipated" <- you can only anticipate things you know about. If your most anticipated games were ones you never heard of, then you'd be clairvoyant, or a time traveller or some other hard to explain circumstance.
Gran Turismo would get my vote, it's not available yet and I'm really looking forward to playing it.

Titan's Revenge
02-14-05, 03:44 PM
Oblivion tops my list, easily.

Vagrant Zero
02-14-05, 03:45 PM
Games on that list I agree with:

Jade Empire (PC, hopefully)
The Legend of Zelda (NGC)
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PC)
Killer 7 (NGC)
Devil May Cry 3 (PS2)
Final Fantasy XII (PS2)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl (PC)
F.E.A.R. (PC)
Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 (PC)
Kingdom Hearts 2 (PS2)

02-14-05, 04:12 PM
Even if you don't like RPGs, for the graphics alone I would buy that game, just to see it in action. I mean, it gives Unreal3 some actual competition.

02-14-05, 06:34 PM
it's disgusting, the lack of attention " you are empty gets " =P

I also agree with "where's quake 4!?"

02-14-05, 06:41 PM
One game that hasn't been mentioned,

Close combat: First to fight
