Does anyone know where I can actually find one of these 6600 Go "for thin and light" cards in a "thin and light" laptop that's actually available immediately (or very soon)? Most of the listed manufacturers still had last generation ATI cards in their notebooks.

There is PR from NV linked on the front page which lists a host of vendors intending to sell those "think and light" laptops. Check the website of those vendors.

I already did check with five of those sites and the only nv4x-based card I found was the 6200 in the Sony FS (which was announced a long time ago). That's why I posted -- I'm trying to find specific models w/ the 6600 Go because they don't show up for the listed manufacturers.

Also, anyone know if IBM is going to be putting 6x00 Gos in Thinkpads anytime soon (or ever)?

dell should have some newer revisions of its current notebooks such as the 6000 and 9300 coming out with available gfx from ati/nvidia's new bad boys... both in the mid and high end...

other places should be carrying the gpu's soon I think... not sure why its not more widely available right now... perhaps nvidia's partners are building up inventory ?

I know I was looking at notebooks the other night.
Most have ati cards or freaking junky intels.

I know the Radeon 9000 and 9200 seems to be in 80%.

Dell puts 9600 turbo and 9700-128's in there high ends.
It's a shame Nvidia lost dell in the highend market with the FX chips.

Dell's Inspiron XPS is so badass.
It's got the 256meg 9800XT in it. :drooling:
