I hope it does. To be honest I'm kind of sick of useing firefox. I'd like to switch back to IE. It just has a better "feel" to it, but I can't give up tabbed browsing.

FWIW, FireFox probably has it's share of security holes as well. It just hasn't been targeted as much. That may change when it's market share increases, as it has been. And if it gets ugly guys... You may all find yourselves switching back to IE in the name of security. Kinda funny how that might work out eh?

That would be ironically delicious

Yes that would be ironic, however with IE7 it just means Microsoft will take strongen its strangehold on the browser market, so firefox will remain a niche browser!

Why would you enjoy people getting security problems with Firefox?

its a logical progression... the big dog always gets targetted... you think that firefox would not get slammed as much as IE if it had the same market share?

Ya well we could use less imagination and more (naughty) images. Come on people, why hasn't the most important question been asked? Will IE7 make porn look better?

Word, I hear you on that one. 1/2 the time when I attempt to post pictures, generally in this forum and in Babe Thread ;), Damn I.E. tends to crash on me, having to redo my whole post!! :mad: Hopefully I.E. 7 will offer as many features as FireFox does, as for the ability to change themes :p since I'm not a user of Style XP

Have you ever considered the possibility that it's not IE's fault it keeps crashing?

I post pictures here on a daily basis, and I've never had Intenet Explorer hang because of it. Have you checked the integrity of your plugins? This forum uses Flash for some things, have you tried re-installing it to see if that clears up the mess?

FWIW, I've had consistent issues with IE giving debug errors even after multiple fresh installs. I think it has a problem.

That said, I haven't used the damn thing in a while now so perhaps they've gotten it working a bit better. I do know Opera also had a tendency to go down on occasion and FireFox so far has been the only completely stable browser I've used.

There was a browser that I found on betanews.com and it was based on the IE core (so pages displayed the same in this browser as they do in IE), but was more like FireFox in that it had a ton of plug-ins, tabbed browsing and was more secure. I forget the name of it now, but I never tried it out. I always meant to, though.

I have no problems with IE. I have meant to try out Firefox, but just haven't. The reason I use IE is back in the day, I used to use Netscape, but got tired of installing new versions of it for updates or whatever. So I said screw it and just went back to IE and that way it was updated with my OS. I'm not a browser junky and like I said, I have no issues/problems with IE. JMHO.

Ditto. I cant be arsed installing browsers, I have had no major problems with IE myself either.

I haven't had any problems with IE, either...but I kinda like FireFox...the tabbed browsing is working out for me a lot more than I thought it would. Besides that, there are some GREAT plug-ins that let me see all sorts of stuff about CSS and the likes. I love this broswer. It's got a lot more potential with plug-ins than IE becuase all the "plug-ins" are usually spyware for IE.

CSS? Plugins for FireFox?

Do tell. I haven't seen anything like that. By CSS you mean the game right? :)

CSS = Cascading Style Sheets.

You didn't know that FireFox has plug-ins and extensions?
