What kind of HSF do you have? If you have the stock AMD HSF then I would replace that with some of the many good options from companies like Thermalright, Zalman, etc.

Go to http://www.thermalright.com and http://www.zalmanusa.com for starters. Both have products categorized for AMD, Intel or both.

I'm currenlty working on a review of the Thermalright XP-90 which has been a very popular choice.

If you dont mind the noise, theres a really good 120mm Thermaltake fan that you can get. I got it recently and my gpu and cpu temps dropped by about 8 degrees.

It's all about Thermalright. Go Xp-90 since the price is not as scary as the 120 though it is still very efficient. Also the xP-120 has compatibility issues with some motherboards, (in terms of size) so just be careful.

thanks for the advice

one Question does the XP-90 fit on to the motherboard without have to uninstall the board form the case?

As long as you don't have a Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra-939 (Gigabyte uses a non-standard support plate on the mobo underside). There are a few other exceptions: http://www.thermalright.com/a_page/main_support_faq_motherboard_xp90.htm

The XP-90 bolted right up to my DFI NF3 250Gb board. Would be much easier to mount with the motherboard outside the case but should not be a major problem if you have sufficient room.
