Need Help!

Alright guys...time to call on all our expertise and knowledge!

I am looking to make a photo slide-show and put it to music as a wedding present of sorts for my fiance's sister and her new husband...

I'll be scanning in the photos ( dah...so much easier if they had used a digital camera ) and will need to make a slide-show with the pictures. I'll then be looking to put the slide-show to music...

Any ideas on which software would be best? Any suggestions?

Lastly, I'd like to save the whole thing in a VCD format so they can watch it on their DVD player...I don't imagine I'll have any trouble there....but figured I should check regardless...

I know there is software out there to do it...but I'd love to find a low-cost way of doing this...

Download Adobe Premiere 6.0 tryout.

It should be able to do everything you want to do.
And I think its a 30-day or 15-day trial, but it will only take an hour or so to make your video.

yes, I used premiere for a wedding show I've done, and some say it's better than professional, and mine was free...I think I might put an ad in the paper and do em for pay...like $1000 a pop...
