OK, I used the XG 67.66B HQ before. After doing some thinking, I recalled that I had so many other tweaks applied on my previous set; so maybe I have some work to do. Clocks are the same.

BTW, I did noticed that the IQ in this wonderful set excels comparing to the previous one. A++ programming.

so the IQ is better in these than in 67.66?

try guru3d.com as the password for your download.

there was a chap in here from g3d explaining that his stuff does work but not without that password..........

better iq than the 67.66 would be impressive..........

i'll watch for a while before installing............if thats ok.......

Well ssj4goku887, i hoped that u get the serious temp bug had grabbed by his througt this time, that should be the one we where all waiting for.
OC'ed up 402 and oc'ed back to 350 for fall back of 15 C degree in temp, the fan also speeds up from 2432 to 3268 in normal mode.
Please posting also next time your tweaks inside those drivers, why ? we can never check or test what was been changed inside them, only the IQ probally.

the drivers have no new features between the 67.66 and the 71.81 just some changes in performance/IQ

Should I install these with "Quality" or "High Quality" settings?

If they're like the 67.66 drivers, go with HQ. You won't be disappointed. :)

Thanks! I guess I'd lucked up on the exact combo of OC settings to get the temp back down to normal in the past, but you are correct 100%... Setting 3D OC to 402 and then setting it to anything else afterwards fixes the temperature for me as well.

so what's the final word on these? are they an upgrade over xg 67.66a/b or should i keep my current set?

Trying it yourself is the best way.

As you guys know, we released the 71.81XG yesterday. In about 3 seconds flat, Guru3D snatched them up, extracted them with our password, re-compressed them with his password, and put them up for download at his site.

You can imagine that this is a little frustrating since we do all the work and he gets the hits.

In their forum, someone had said that they were glad that Hilbert and Daishi got their problems worked out I don't know if this was supposed to be in gest or not but I replied;

"Yeah, it's all worked out. We make them, he takes them."

I got banned for that.

I guess someone over there doesn't like it when someone holds up a mirror.

If they want to use up their bandwidth for it, let em.

We know who makes them.
