IC7-G chipset fan died

Should I be worried about it and get a new chipset fan? Or should I just forget it?

It should be fine with just the heatsink, but I wouldn't try it :) You should get it replaced with an aftermarket heatsink and fan. Those boards are known to have chipset fans that die.

Would it fit? I have the Cu7000 something for CPU fan and my motherboard doesn't have holes for the chipset heatsink... just little rings.

Yes it should work fine... my coworker has that exact same mobo, with the exact same NB fan :)
