Is it possible? I have no floppy in my machine and would rather not have one...but in order to use SATA, I have to have a floppy drive in order to install the drivers during the Windows install.

Is there anyway that if I were to get the drivers from the floppy onto a USB thumb drive that I could direct the Windows installer to that location and install the drivers from there? If that isn't possible, what about a CD? Or does it have to be a floppy?

you do know that you can create your own bootable winxp cd right? you can download the files and whatnot for free, and the program to do it for free. just google it and you will find it all. only thing you need is your winxp disc and a blank cd-r.

Yeah, I took care of it using nLite and made a slipstreamed version of Windows...I talked about it another thread. But thanks anyway. :)
