Liverpool had an awesome 3-1 victory and came very close to keeping a clean sheet. Shame we let them have an away goal, but without morrientes or gerrard that is an excellent result. Arsenal got pwnd all over, and tonight there are two HUGE games. AC Milan vs Man Utd and Chelski vs Barca

We lost due to a clanger by caroll. Without a schmicael figure..dun think we can get another euro cuup. ah well.

barca won 2-1 but still, Chelski can score 1-0 win and be done with barca....

I'm watching AC Milan vs Manchester Utd. right now on TSN. I know it's not live, but it's a very intense match. After that, it's going to be Porto vs Inter Milan on TSN. So far, it' s 60m and 0-0 in this Mil-Man match.

Wrong formation at home by Fergie...should have started with Saha and left Fortune out and gone with a 4-4-2. oh well.

I don't understand why they didn't put Van Nistelrooy and Saha in the first place. Paul Scholes and Wayne Fortune seem to have been useless the whole match.

Ruud was coming back from an injure...no matches under his belt etc, I agree with keeping him till the 2nd half. Scholes was forced into a defensive role and wasn't pushing/running forward..negative tactics. Trying to catch AC on the break

I'm watching the Porto - Inter match right now and Martins just scored for Inter. Is it just me or was that goal a clear off-side? Anyone else see it?

Chelski only have to get one goal and defend which they are suprisingly good at... and with duff back that should be a different game. Man Utd will have to raise their game for the next leg...

I can't see us getting a result at San Siro...but as i said, chelski still have a chance.

Nuthin a little KY can't sort out...

I wonder if christiano ronaldo uses that on his hair? Doesn anyone else find it amusing how different ronaldo and rooney are at Man Utd. On the one hand a total chav and on the other a total beckham wannabe...

I'll admit I'm jelous of the money the guy earns... but if I could be any premiership player it would probably be someone like John Terry. Crap loads of money, hell of a career ahead...

Upson wanted to go though as he couldn't be guaranteed first team football.

Cygan's happy to sit on the bench most of the time and at least he's consistent in what he does.

We've been really unlucky with Campbell this season. He seems to have spent more than 50% of the season out injured. Perhaps he had a latent form of the Spurs Sicknote virus and it has now been activated. I read somewhere that because of his bulk he's going to be especially more injury prone the older he gets. I hope it's not true.

Arsenal were a bit unlucky in Bayern. They had their fare share of possession and only lucked the killer touch to get a few goals. Arsenal is great at build-up play but in tough games where the opposition closely marks the forwards, like Wednesday’s, a poacher goalscorer would come in handy. The defence was also dismal and Bayern seemed to manage to score from very poor chances.

Arsenal are still capable of knocking in a bunch of goals on their good day. So they’re not out of it yet. Obviously it’s going to be difficult though.

The premiership could be interesting over the next few weeks, especially after the match this sunday if liverpool win.
