This is a really great point and sums up my thinking when I am very outwardly offensive to people. There are very few people here that do not commit personal attacks regularly but many are not very overt about it. A veiled, subtle insult is still an insult.

I don't see why an apology to that last incident with shrek2 is called for. That guy really did ask a very moronic question.
I absolutely agree with regard to the guy's question and I do not believe his intentions were the least bit pure. It was a flamebait thread and I bit it big time. That's what was wrong with my post. I should have taken the high road and just explained why the question was flawed and been done with it.

If anything, Ninjaman's posts have been more of reason than inflammatory, even if he is a bit caustic in them.

Oftentimes his posts are more grounded in reality than "the other side" who are obsessed with "humanity" and fanciful "touchy feely let's take care of everyone including criminals" type people. If he leaves, I see allot of value in this forum going away.
