After asking about a ff7 remake in the psp thread, I realized there is a version of FF3 (FF6 in Japan) coming to the DS. I can't really find much information/screens on it, does anyone know much about it? Are they going to update the graphics for the DS or are they leaving it pretty much the way it was on snes? Any info would be appreciated. :)

Wrong Final Fantasy, They aren't bringing the SNES one, They are bringing the Original Final Fantasy 3 which was released on the Famicom (NES) but never made it to america. Basically this will be the first time the game has made it to US Shores, I might pick up a DS for this since I only played a Fan Translation of it on a Emulator.

As for Final Fantasy 7 Sequel on the PSP, Nope. Its not a sequel rather then a side story. Final Fantasy 7 alrady has a sequel, Advent Children. Its a Direct Sequel all other Final Fantasy 7 games (3 in production, PSP, PS2 and Mobile) are side stories.

To be Released Titles are as follows:
Final Fantasy 3 (DS)
Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children (Movie)
Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core (PSP Game)
Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus (PS2)
Final Fantasy 7: Before Crisis (Mobile Phone)
Final Fantasy 12 (PS2)
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (DS)

Ah, crap. I didn't realize this, I thought it was a Final Fantasy 6 remake at first. I actually sold my DS at an EBGames about a month and a half ago, thinking that no decent games would be coming out for it for a while. Now I'm seeing new 2D Castlevanias and Final Fantasy 3 (I played the fan translation too, it was a good game). Oh well, I'll get another one when the games start coming out. ;)

whoops. sorry. I thought it was the snes 3, not the nes 3 that was never released here. =/ Hey, thats cool though, I'll play it, so long as it doesnt stick with the 8-bit look...now Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus...I cant wait for that one! I'll have to get a ps2 when that comes.
