I got to admit. This coupled with a nice X800Xl would bring about formidable performance with low profile cooling and heat output. I am thinking I may eventually pick one of these up with an X800XL just to enjoy such a cool and quiet system. :)
*edit* ooops.. just noticed its not a PCIE system.. Hmm what does that leave us AGP thats low profile and has little heat output?

Grab a 90dollar usd MSI Xpress 200 board and a X800XL PCI-E once the prices fall a tad more Chris. I am building a second rig with the powercolor version and said MSI board. Xpress 200 can run 4 SATA and 4 regular drives, has Lan, on board sound, and on board video so someone could run three monitors if they had a discreet solution too. With good cooling, like the GT, the X800XL can perform just as well as the Ultra.
This fellow modded his cooling and got these results, I will be using the new zalman cooler myself.

The X800XL is certainly an attractive product. When I get my next PCIE system I really want to give one a go. I honestly dont "need" it right now.. but it's a nice low profile cooler with a p4 Mobility chipset could be competant compared to my A64 3800+. Plus it runs cool.

I don't need it either. :p I just like getting new toys. I have been sending lots of cash nVidia's way so I figure I will support ATi a little too. Honestly, I have used both company's products over time and been very satisfied. When the X800XL is more available and more importantly settles at 299usd it's going to be a killer deal.
There's the Xpress 200 for 91 dollars if anyone wants to try it:

It admittedly is the first ATI card in the last year besides the 9800 Pro that has really caught my eye. The biggest problem I've had with it that its 3 months after it was announced and still not available in real quantity. I wouldnt have minded this if ATI would have prepared us for this lack of availability. But they promised cards in mid january and it just never happened. With it coming down in price finally and seeing a bit more availability its becoming a much more noteworthy product.
