X-Mas Hardware?

Well....with Christmas coming right around the corner....chances are, some of us will be asking for / buying some hardware this season...

So, what do you guys have on the horizon?

Personally, everything depends on landing a job this week....If I pull that off ( and they pay me enough to pay my bills :p ) I'll be looking to snag a Logitech MX700, a new keyboard, and maybe turn-in this older 21" CRT for an LCD...

More than likely, I'll just end up buying some CD-R's and some Ramen noodles though...my luck is horrible as of late ( though I would love to land this job )... :(

MX700 here too.... hooking my current mouse to my monitor doesn't work that well because the 6' cord only has to go about 6 inches. :p

Tribunal, maybe... and MAYBE an R9500Pro assuming I can find one before Christmas. :p

But other than that, I don't know... ideas?

I would consider a Pentium 4 upgrade, but there aren't any motherboards available that have all the features I want (that aren't the crappy Asus P4S8X).

Besides, that would be more expensive than the Xbox I'm considering anyway. Plus I figure if I have an Xbox, I'll be playing that and not thinking about upgrading my PC as often so it will in fact save me money in the long run. :eek: :D

512 PC3200C2 Winbond DDR
Western digital 80 gig 7200 RPM
Don't know what speakers tho
Audigy 2 and some keybards and mouses I am getting.;) :D

i doubt there will be many good deals on the r9500Pro with them being brand new though :(

I'll be buying myself a tualatin celeron 1.3 and 256 megs of ram soon. I should be getting a 17 inch LG monitor and maybe a nice chair for christmas, along with the usual assortment of dvd's and whatnot.

My Radeon 9700 was essentially an early Christmas gift... I don't think I need any hardware this year.

Well...it sure looks good for that new job...I should know by tomorrow....

If I pull that off....I might have to upgrade from these old ( but good ) Altec-Lansing ACS-48 speakers and welcome the nForce2's SoundStorm Dolby Digital with some new Klipsch ProMedia's!

( Even then, I'll still have a hard time justifying the price.....maybe I'll just buy new home theater speakers instead )

I built a full computer last year about this time. My speakers died a month ago, and I put the Logitech Z-560's on the list for my parents. So unless they buy me new speakers, no upgrades this holiday season.

However, next spring when I get my tax return, I'll be getting a GeForce FX... :cool:

Dah! How could I forget the power supply!!! ( my "wimpy" 430W doesn't have enough 5v/3.3v amps to overclock that well )

Well im getting a few things, nothing special. Inlaws are buying me a new case, with site window and light :D Wife is buying me some new headphones, Sennheiser HD212, see pic attached.
