Could be true. The 6800u is really all anyone needs at this point.

If you really want the fastest single card the X850XTPE for a mere 799.00 bucks can be had.

There is no way in hell I would give 700+ bucks for a d@mn videocard.
These graphic companies have lost there minds. :thumbdwn:

You can get a X850XT for 469.00. Not to bad. Most are overclocking
to 600/600.
So why buy a PE.

If nvidia can get the clocks up on the 6800 it will eat
anything ati can put out for lunch. ;)

You pay 800 dollars for a PE to have a very big E-Penis

You pay 800 dollars for a PE to have a very big E-Penis just to fit the small born penis, lol

I think Nvidia is gonna wait out ATI on these net-gen parts, going into this round Nvidia has pretty much been the winner, they can afford to kick back now, just like ATI kicked back and let Nvidia [the loser at the time] launch their next-gen part [the 6800 series] first.

G70 is the nv40 refresh, however not much more info on that. It however is defiantly not the next gen part, just a refresh.

Well, it seems NV changes their codenames..but according what Michael Jara said there will be 2 refresh parts this year:Spring refresh and as he said``Much more powerful Fall refresh``.Spring refresh will be probably made in 110nm an Fall refresh in 90nm...

Is it confirmed that G70 will be announced in April???? ;)

Guys we always get a spring refresh. Then again in the fall.
Well, unless one is not needed in the case of the 6800u.

I look forward to what fall brings from nvidia and ati. :)
