Yes there will something from NV but I do not know about ATi. I say this because Dan Vivoli (VP of marketing) will be there ...and as I understand he doesn't goto expos like unless NV have something uber to show.
geee what the hell is nvidia thinking is this there big anouncement

The NVIDIA demo guys I know are working very hard for CeBIT demos, so there's some new hardware brewing for release.
G70 is NV47 silicon renamed, regardless of what the Inquirer says. It ain't NV50. Mark my words.
Vivoli is a buffoon. I hear he tried to take the Doom3 CDs about 5 minutes before the NV40 was debuting. ... "Hi, We're introducing this new GeForce 6800 GPU, but we can't show it to you, because our marketing VP stole the software for his kids."
Meh.
the ricecar speaketh..he has connections u know ;)
more credibilty to the fact NV are going to relase something.
Come on the VP of Marketing (Europe) is going to make key note address there ;)

LOL! but regardless of his antics his presence there does signify something ;)
Sweet! New demos incoming.
Dawn = :drooling: Nalu = :drooling: :drooling: :drooling:

We think we will get a spring refresh.
We always do every year.
Faster memory and a 25mhz faster core maybe.

So now I hear that there will NOT be an new product announcement at GDC. Apparently NVIDIA thinks ATI has to do a metal respin on ___ (R520?), so since NVIDIA's still selling more 6800s than they can fab, they are sitting tight without announcing a new product.
Might be FUD, but I'm hearing from developers, not marketing.

Could be true. The 6800u is really all anyone needs at this point.
If you really want the fastest single card the X850XTPE for a mere 799.00 bucks can be had.
There is no way in hell I would give 700+ bucks for a d@mn videocard.
These graphic companies have lost there minds. :thumbdwn:
You can get a X850XT for 469.00. Not to bad. Most are overclocking
to 600/600.
So why buy a PE.
If nvidia can get the clocks up on the 6800 it will eat
anything ati can put out for lunch. ;)
It might also go with a new policy of slowing things down. But I would have thought that going for the throat would be a better idea if they do think they have an advantage on performance crown. A paper launch will do! :)
from the look of 6800Ultra Go, I think if NV manufactures 6800U on 110nm process (with possibly native PCI-E to further save $$$), it should clock to 500 without much problem. So a refresh 6850??
