What do you guys use for movie players? (.avi, etc) I mainly use WMP, but I'm beginning to start to hate it. What do you guys use?

I just use WMP. I hate Winamp, and PowerDVD and WinDVD just take too long and feel too clunky. As much as it sucks, WMP is the only viable option. It's fast and reasonably easy to use
Yes I agree, powerdvd and windvd are just clunky, and winamp is terrible for movies... I just don't like WMP because it seems "bloated"

Media Player Classic, For DVDs I use TheaterTek DVD, It produces pretty good quality in DVDs but I wish I could have HD Quality (for some reason I can't see that type of quality with any player).
zoomplayer: quick loading, fast and very customizeable

Never had any problems with WMP for movies. If I want to watch a DVD, I use my Xbox.
Windows XP still has the good old Media Player 6.4, its on the windows media player folder.
I used it before I got Media Player Classic. Both are orders of magnitude better than WMP7,8,9,10.

if we are talking about files, i just use VLC media player. I love the program since it'll play anything. for DVD's tho Im using Windvd since it came with my new DVDrom, but to be honest I'd rather watch my movies on my tv. things just look better.

I'm lazy so I still use media player 6.4.
MP10 for AVI's, DIVX's other video formats
PowerDVD 6 for DVD's and DVD images
Winamp purely for audio formats.

WMP10 w/ AC3 filter for almost everything. If it wont run with that (quicktime or real media) i use media player classic.
I use power dvd 6 and sometimes use media player classic. Anyone that uses WMP, I suggest taking a look at media player classic, there is a link in another thread :)
