hey i was running the 66.93's then moved to the 71.84's and my temps jumped a couple of degrees to 80 C is this still safe? i have it OC to ultra settings

people say its a major bug......im suprised it hasnt been fixed yet.

are there any other drivers that produce the same performance as the 71.84XG but dont have that temp bug?

Im not going to try 71.84 because of the temp bug (to big an issue to be fixed.. something is flawed) but im using the XG 67.66a's and they work great so give them a shot :)

67.66b is by XG better..

i like 71.81 XG is what im usin..very fast :)

i dont get temp bug in 71.xx but i get it in 75.xx.

Its just a bug ignore it, its not like the card is actually running 80c idle

On my 6800ultra I had the temperturebug with the 75.90 driver but with the 71.84 driversI don't have it,it wierd how some have it and others don't but I wish they would get this bug fixed for everone.

Ya I was using the 71.84 on my gt for a few days but I went back to 67.66 because of the temp bug. Also, Ive never had any forceware 65 driver crash doom3 but the forceware 70 71.84 driver did so back to 67.66. Im going to wait for a WHQL official 7x.xx driver. They are still a little too beta. They did have great IQ but not really any better than 67.66.
